Sexual harassment training for managers

I saw this floating around my inbox this morning and I thought I’d pass it along.  There is a two-hour sexual harassment and bully prevention course available for California managers on Wednesday, February 20th, from 9am to 11:15am PST.  California employers with 5 or more employees must have ALL managers and supervisors complete sexual harassment prevention training by January 1, 2020.  This manager training will be held at the University of Phoenix located at 45 River Park Place W, Suite 200, Fresno, CA 93720.  There will be free Dutch Bros. coffee available.  Cost is $25 per person and $20 a person for 11 or more from the one company.  There will be both an English and Spanish version of this class available.

You can register for this training class after the jump.  You can also contact Sutton Hague Law Corporation for more information.  The email is events@suttonhague.com and the phone number is (559) 325-0500.

Something else to keep in mind about this training and new California law:

New California law also requires employers with 5 or more employees to provide training to non-supervisors (1 hour) by January 1, 2020. ANY COMPANY THAT SENDS 5 OR MORE SUPERVISORS/MANAGERS TO THE FEBRUARY 20 LIVE TRAINING SESSION WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FOR A FREE ACCESS LINE TO A ONE HOUR WEBINAR TRAINING FOR NON-MANAGERS IN 2019 PROVIDED BY SUTTON HAGUE LAW CORPORATION (HAVE AS MANY IN THE ROOM AS YOU WANT).

This is all important stuff and shouldn’t be taken lightly.  Don’t be scrambling at the last minute to get this done!
