This might wind up being “too little, too late” after all is said and done but PG&E seems to be doubling down on doing more proactively to combat the voluminous damage that often springs out of sparks from power lines. PG&E has a whole section of their website dedicated to wildfire safety and they are even hosting public presentations around the country and educational webinars. The next webinar will be held on the California Wildfire Safety Program next Wednesday, August 14th, from 2pm to 3:30pm PST.
Again, this might wind up being too little, too late in the grand scheme of things after the last few years of widespread damage and loss of life that PG&E is responsible for. If you would like to read more about PG&E wildfire safety you can do so after the jump.
